Light tuned to the task
BBI MULA is a current-generation South Korean phototherapy and photorejuvenation system built on Super IPL broadband pulsed light
Through interchangeable filters the energy is directed specifically at melanin, hemoglobin or water—that is, at pigmentation, vessels or skin quality.
What to expect
What it targets
Melanin—age spots, freckles, melasma
Hemoglobin—broken capillaries, rosacea, visible vessels. Collagen—heating the dermis triggers the synthesis of new fibers
A filter for the task
Eight interchangeable filters from 420 to 695 nm plus dedicated ACNE and VASCULAR filters
The doctor matches the wavelength to what we are treating: pigmentation, vessels, acne or skin quality
Comfort
Built-in cooling makes the session almost painless
No downtime: mild redness settles within a couple of hours
Your doctor will tell you what fits at your consultation
Precision instead of power
Pulsed light works not by the force of the flash but by how precisely the wavelength is matched. That is why the system holds not one lamp but a set: eight filters from 420 to 695 nm plus dedicated ACNE and VASCULAR filters, and interchangeable heads sized to the area. The doctor assembles the combination for your skin and your goal—on the display these appear as separate modes: pigmentation, vessels, acne, skin quality.
BBI MULA
A Super IPL broadband pulsed light platform. The doctor selects the wavelength with a filter—for pigmentation, vessels, acne or skin quality
Indications
For younger patients as prevention of photoaging, and for pronounced age-related changes alike. IPL is also used within comprehensive acne treatment programs.

Before and after
The essentials, answered
How many sessions do I need?
For a lasting result—a course of 3–6 sessions with 2–4 weeks between them.
Is there any downtime?
There is no real downtime—mild redness settles within a couple of hours, and you can go back to your day.
The pigmentation got darker—is that normal?
Yes, and we warn you about it in advance. After the session age spots can darken and stand out more: melanin rises through the layers of the skin before it breaks down. This takes up to 10 days and means the treatment is working. When we treat vessels, redness for 3–5 days is possible.
Does it hurt?
On the whole it is comfortable. Work on vessels is the most noticeable—but the doctor matches the intensity to your sensitivity.
Who is it not suitable for?
We do not perform the treatment during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with a pacemaker, during an acute infection, with broken skin in the treatment area, on a fresh tan, or on darker skin (phototypes III–V)—pulsed light is not safe there. The doctor checks the full list at the consultation: if a contraindication is there, we will decline.
What reactions are possible?
Short-lived redness, mild tenderness and a feeling of warmth are normal. The doctor will go through the possible reactions and the aftercare rules with you in advance: following them is what makes the result even.

A solution for the task, not for the device
We do not choose a device to fit the patient—we choose a solution to fit the task
