The device

Diode laser Capello Luxe

Hair removal works through precision of settings, not through raw “power”. That is why your doctor selects the parameters for your skin—at the consultation, before the first pulse

Capello Luxe diode laser—the laser hair removal device at RE/FACE clinic
The key fact about comfort

skin is cooled during the pulse itself

Three cooling circuits work at the same time—water, Peltier and air. That is why most patients describe the treatment as warm tingling rather than pain

01

808 nm—the gold standard

The energy is absorbed by melanin inside the follicle and destroys it without damaging the skin around it

02

Tuned to your skin

Your doctor adjusts the pulse width from 2 to 100 ms—to your skin type and hair coarseness, not to a generic template

03

A large 15 × 15 mm spot

Large areas—legs, back—are covered noticeably faster than with small-spot devices

The same laser also works on rejuvenation

The 808 nm wavelength is absorbed not only by melanin but also by the water in your tissue: gentle warming of the dermis stimulates your own collagen production—without damaging the skin and without downtime.

whether it suits you—your doctor decides
A common objection

“Surely an alexandrite laser is better than a diode”

This is a widespread marketing myth

Alexandrite and diode lasers work on different technologies, but they pursue the same goal—destroying the hair follicle. Effectiveness depends not on the name of the device, but on accurate diagnostics, individual settings, adherence to protocols and the experience of the specialist.

That is exactly why we chose a diode system: it works with most skin types and suits both delicate areas and large areas of the body.

How it goes

Nothing to endure, just relax

Three cooling circuits bring skin temperature down to −10 °C during the pulse—which is why most patients describe the sensation as warm tingling, not pain

We start with a test pulse
01

Consultation and test pulse

Your doctor examines your skin and hair, sets the parameters for your skin type and fires a test pulse—so you feel the treatment before the course even starts

02

A course on schedule

Hair grows in cycles, so the laser only acts on active follicles and hair removal runs as a course with intervals. How many sessions and how often—your doctor calculates that individually

03

Maintenance

After the main course only occasional maintenance visits remain—smooth skin without the daily routine, the irritation and the ingrown hairs

Questions

Short answers to what people ask most often

Does it hurt?

The Capello diode laser runs three cooling circuits and brings skin temperature down to −10 °C during the pulse itself, so most patients describe the sensation as warm tingling. Before the course your doctor fires a test pulse, so you know how it feels in advance.

How many sessions do I need?

Hair grows in cycles and the laser only acts on active follicles—which is why hair removal always runs as a course. The exact number and the intervals depend on the area, your hormonal background and your hair type; your doctor calculates them at the consultation. We will not prescribe a course blind.

Is it right for my skin type?

The pulse width is adjustable across a 2–100 ms range, and the 808 nm wavelength is absorbed by melanin inside the follicle without damaging the skin around it. That lets us work with most skin types. The final decision is your doctor’s, after examining you.

How do I prepare?

Before the treatment, do not remove hair at the root—no waxing or sugaring: the laser works through the root, and it has to stay in place. Shaving the area is fine. It is better to avoid sun exposure and self-tanner. Your doctor will give you exact guidance for your area at the consultation.
