Treating acne

Acne is not “bad skincare” but a skin condition with a cause. We work with the cause: light against bacteria, deep-cleansing against congestion, a doctor against self-treatment

Acne treatment—calm, clear skin
What it is

The cause, not the breakouts

Acne is driven by excess sebum, blocked pores and C. acnes bacteria

A single “anti-spot” treatment does not work here: it takes a plan. We combine phototherapy with a dedicated ACNE filter, medical deep-cleansing facials and at-home care—and we track how things change rather than putting out individual breakouts.

What to expect

01

Diagnosing the cause

The doctor determines the form and severity of the acne

If needed, we refer you to another specialist: acne is often linked to hormones or the digestive system, and without that, aesthetic medicine gives only a temporary result

02

Phototherapy with the ACNE filter

The BBI MULA system has a dedicated ACNE filter:

the light suppresses bacteria in the pores and reduces inflammation. Areas: 1 area—from ₽9,800, 2 areas—from ₽12,500, back—from ₽26,000

03

Medical deep-cleansing

The “Stop acne” treatment (from ₽5,500) clears congestion and inflammation mechanically

In the plan it complements the light rather than replacing it

04

Post-acne

Once the inflammation is under control, we move on to the marks it leaves:

scars and uneven texture are work for RF microneedling, age spots for phototherapy

Common questions

The essentials, answered

How long does it take?

Acne is treated over a course, not in a single visit: the skin needs time to change. The doctor will give you a realistic horizon at the consultation—we will not promise “clear skin in one session”.

Can I not just squeeze them?

Not on your own: that pushes the inflammation deeper and leaves a scar or a mark where the spot was, which takes longer to treat than the acne itself.

Will marks be left behind?

Post-acne responds to treatment—scarring is work for RF microneedling, pigmentation for phototherapy. The sooner acne is brought under control, the fewer marks are left.

What do the treatments feel like?

The protocol is always individual: it includes injectables, device-based methods, facials and deep-cleansing. Each treatment follows its own protocol, with every comfort measure built in. The reactions vary too—from redness and flaking to small bruises; the doctor will explain each stage in advance.

Is this really a job for an aesthetic physician?

Not always for them alone. If the cause lies in hormones or the digestive system, we will see it and say so plainly—health-first means we will not treat the consequence while ignoring the cause.

Timeline

Acne is treated over a course, not in one visit

Skin needs time to change. We show you realistic timelines instead of promising a clear face after one session—so you know what is happening and which stage you are at

First visit

Diagnostics: the doctor determines the form and severity. If a hormonal or other cause is suspected—a referral to another specialist.

First month

We bring acute inflammation down. A temporary flare is possible—this is an expected reaction of the skin to the start of treatment.

Months 2–3

Noticeably fewer breakouts, calmer skin. We add work on skin quality and pores.

After that

We move on to post-acne: texture and scarring with RF microneedling, marks with phototherapy. Plus supportive at-home care.

Why RE/FACE

Acne is a medical condition

We treat acne as a medical condition rather than a cosmetic flaw

So we work comprehensively: medical treatment, professional care, device-based methods and at-home care guidance—and, where needed, a referral to another specialist.
