Will it be obvious that I have had my lips done?
Our principle is to keep things natural. We do not overcorrect; if a request goes beyond a harmonious result, the doctor will discuss it with you before the treatment.
Does it hurt?
We always apply a topical anesthetic, and almost all fillers already contain lidocaine. We work with fine certified needles—this reduces both discomfort and the risk of bruising. There is a separate lidocaine-free product for those who are allergic to it.
When can I be seen in public?
Swelling is noticeable for the first 2–3 days. The final result comes at two weeks. We invite you back for a check-up in 5–7 days: if you are happy with the result and have no questions, coming in is optional.
What should I avoid afterwards?
For the first 24 hours: do not touch or massage the lips, no makeup, exercise, alcohol or swimming pool. For the first 3–7 days: no steam room or hot baths, no tanning bed, SPF 30–50 is mandatory, no peels or scrubs. For swelling you can apply cold through a cloth for 5–10 minutes. If you are prone to cold sores, the doctor will prescribe prophylaxis in advance.
Which reactions are normal?
For several days you may have mild redness, moderate swelling, tenderness to the touch, bruising and a firm feeling at the injection points. This is expected and resolves on its own.
What if I do not like it?
Hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible—the product can be dissolved (filler dissolution with longidase—from ₽7,500).
