We relax the muscle, not the face
Botulinum therapy — what most people simply call botox injections — is the precise placement of botulinum toxin into the muscles of facial expression
The muscle relaxes temporarily, the skin above it smooths out, and the habit of creasing the forehead or the bridge of the nose goes away. The clinic works with five products—the doctor chooses the one that fits your goal.
What to expect
Mapping to your expression
The doctor watches how your particular muscles work and marks the injection points
The aim is to release the crease, not to immobilize the face
Choosing the product
Dysport, Xeomin, Relatox, Miotox or Novacutan BTA—the choice depends on the area, the goal and what you have had before
The session
A few micro-injections with a fine needle
The whole appointment including the examination takes up to 30 minutes; anesthetic is usually not needed
The effect
First changes in 3–7 days, the full result by two weeks
It lasts 4–6 months on average, after which the muscle gradually returns to work
Your doctor will tell you what fits at your consultation
Indications
For those who want to keep a young, fresh appearance without losing natural facial expression.
Sound familiar? Let’s talk it through in person
Your doctor will examine your skin, tell you honestly whether this method is right for you, and put together a plan. A consultation commits you to nothing
Indications are not yet a protocol
Your doctor tailors the area, number of sessions and settings to your skin. Three questions and we’ll name your protocol, price included
Before and after
The essentials, answered
Is this the same thing as botox?
In substance yes, in name no. “Botox” is the trade name of one botulinum toxin product, and in everyday speech it stands for the whole treatment — much as “xerox” stands for any photocopier. We work with Dysport, Xeomin, Relatox, Miotox and Novacutan BTA: all type A botulinum toxins, the same family. Which one suits you is decided at the examination — they differ in how quickly they take effect and how they behave in tissue.
Will my face look frozen?
The doctor’s task is to preserve natural expression. The dose is chosen individually; we do not aim to immobilize the face.
Why is the price given per unit?
The final cost depends on the number of units, and that depends on your muscles and the areas involved. The doctor will name the exact number and the sum at the consultation, before the treatment.
How long does the effect last?
On average 4–6 months. The duration depends on the product, your metabolism and how active your expressions are—it can be around three months, especially after a first treatment. The effect unfolds gradually: first changes in 3–7 days, the full result by two weeks.
Will my expressions be immobilized?
No, not if the work follows the principle of harmonious botulinum therapy. The aim is to release the crease, not to switch the face off: the doctor maps the points to your own expressions and chooses the dose individually. The face stays alive—it simply stops creasing.
Is it harmful?
Type A botulinum toxin has been used in medicine for decades and remains one of the most studied products available. We use only products registered in Russia, follow the prescribing information and always check for contraindications before treatment.
How do I prepare?
For two weeks—no tanning and no anticoagulants. On the day of the treatment—clean skin without makeup.
